St. Louis Metro Transit Selects MTM as Partner for Paratransit Certification Services

Demonstrating its commitment to promoting travel independence in the St. Louis region, St. Louis Metro has awarded MTM, Inc. its contract for Paratransit Certification and Administrative Services. Under the contract, MTM deploys our industry-leading mobility management program to manage St. Louis Metro’s Transit Access Center activities, inclusive of three primary services:

  1. Performing in-person interviews and functional assessments to determine applicants’ eligibility for Metro’s Call-A-Ride Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit service and ensure passengers use the most appropriate Metro mode that meets their cognitive and physical abilities
  2. Conducting travel training activities to help passengers who are capable of utilizing fixed route services learn how to safely and confidently navigate the MetroBus and MetroLink systems
  3. Overseeing St. Louis Metro’s disability-based reduced fare program for Missouri customers

Led by Program Manager Nicola Mukome, MTM has a local team of nine Metro-dedicated staff. MTM anticipates completing approximately 3,700 eligibility assessments, conducting 150 travel training sessions, and processing 2,600 reduced fare applications per year.
