MTM Transit Earns WBE Certification from the CPUC’s Supplier Diversity Program

As a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE), MTM Transit is always seeking to help our clients meet their disadvantaged utilization goals. As part of these efforts, we are excited to announce that we have received certification as a WBE in California through the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC)’s Supplier Diversity Program! Through its Supplier Clearinghouse, the CPUC certifies diverse, independent businesses such as WBEs, as well as firms that are majority owned and managed by an individual who qualifies as a member of a minority group, is disabled, or is part of the LGBT community.

“MTM Transit is proud to be a woman-owned and led transit vendor, and we are excited to officially be able to help our California clients meet their disadvantaged subcontracting goals,” said MTM Transit’s President and CEO Alaina Macia. “In California, the CPUC requires participating companies to meet specific procurement goals, including 5% of subcontracted services being issued to WBEs. With this recognition from the CPUC’s Supplier Diversity Program, MTM Transit can help our public transit clients comply with these regulations while offering a high quality, industry-leading transit operation.”

As part of the certification, MTM Transit is recognized as a WBE for the following commodity codes:
