Directors, Regional Sales Lance Guy and Ben Schandle Join MTM Transit

MTM Transit is excited to welcome two new additions to our strategic sales team: Directors, Regional Sales Lance Guy and Ben Schandle. Lance and Ben joined MTM Transit on April 19, taking the lead in identifying, pursuing, and acquiring new business through competitive bidding opportunities and organic growth. Lance is set to oversee relationship building and strategic growth with clients in the western region, while Ben takes the lead in the central region.

Both Lance and Ben are dynamic sales leaders hailing from the transit industry. Lance comes to MTM Transit with more than 15 years of strategic sales expertise, including six years of experience with First Student, North America’s largest private transportation company. While with First Student as Director, Business Development, he led the sales process for contracted student transportation and fleet maintenance services. Lance earned his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.

Similarly, Ben joins MTM Transit with 15-plus years of sales and operations management expertise; he most recently spent nearly three years as the National Business Development Manager with First Student. At First Student, he spearheaded the organization’s strategy for new business acquisition and developed new product lines, including leading efforts for school bus fleet electrification. Ben earned his bachelor’s degree from Xavier University.

“Relationships, knowledge, and collaboration are key in the transit industry, and MTM Transit is thrilled to have Lance and Ben join our team to enhance our strategic sales process,” said MTM’s Chief Sales Officer Ben Woodruff. “Their diverse experience and backgrounds in transit will allow us to build upon MTM Transit’s industry-leading reputation of collaboration and partnership. We look forward to growing with transit agencies and partners nationwide under Ben and Lance’s guidance and efforts.”
